|
Tourmaline-Mint Crystal point
7.33 carats. 18.5x11.5.
turcrystala
$146.60
Natural tourmaline point, transparent with natural inclusions. The bottom and bottom edge were polished flat to reduce chipping. No other cutting or faceting was done. This is as it was when it was taken off the host rock. To retain it’s original qualities and look you should choose a setting that will protect the crystal faces and points from chipping. Green tourmaline is said to attract abundance and prosperity and relieves chronic fatigue and exhaustion. |
- Strong rich color of the madiera citrine.
|
Madiera Citrine Oval
3.26 carats. 11 x 9 mm.
citmdra326a
$130.40
Rich, natural red-orange color with the brightness inherent in the citrine crystal. This is a beautiful stone which will show the strong color throughout after it is set. In this image the stone was back-lighted to show natural color zoning. |
- Rare cat's-eye chrysoberyl with strong eye.
|
Cats-eye Chrysoberyl Round
1.5 carats. 6.3 mm.
chrys150
$450.00
Yellow, transparent to translucent with a strong eye. This is a native cut stone from the late 1980’s. The bottom is slightly bellied with an irregular bevel just below the girdle. The image was taken from an angle. |
- Maltese cross in a faceted stone.
|
Kunzite Shield
4.09 carats. 10 x 8 mm.
kunshld
$245.40
This complicated cut combines two facet patterns, top and bottom, to produce a Maltese cross when viewed from the top. This effect is created entirely by facet placement and is not carved or matte-finished. The cross is only visible from the top. Light pink color. |
- The always bright spessartite makes a strong, showy statement.
|
Spessartite Round
0.81 carats. 6 mm
spes81
$97.20

|
Tourmaline-Blue/Green Square
6.18 carats. 10 x 9.8 x 8.8 mm.
tourblgn618
$556.20
Surprising cut on this dark teal blue tourmaline. Many varied facet shapes make the unusual bottom. The pyramid top is formed from stacked and inverted triangles. This is a very dark stone and will look best if set to allow light to enter from below the girdle. |
- Bright Spessartite in this classic shape will be noticed.
|
Spessartite Garnet Princess Cut
1.02 carats. 5 mm.
spessq102a
$122.40
Classic bright orange spessartite color. This is almost a kool-aid orange and has yellow-orange overtones. The size is good for both men’s and women’s jewelry. |

|
Aquamarine Princess Cut
2.06 carats. 7.45 x 7.55 mm.
aqprn206a
$370.80
The color overwhelms the inclusions. Best aquamarine color with no green tones. If clean, this stone wold be 2 to 3 times the price. With this stone you get perfect color at an affordable price. |
- Light amethyst material is perfect for this type carving.
|
Amethyst Carving Rd
14.83 carats. 18 mm.
amcrva
$66.74
Medium dome light amethyst has a paisley-shaped flat bottom carving on one side. The very pale lavender color brings out the natural veils and inclusions in the amethyst material. When held with side lighting the veils are sharper, well-defined and gives the stone more character. |
- Nice red/maroon color in a shallow, easy-to-set stone.
|
Rhodolite Garnet EC
7.91 carats. 14x9.7x6.5mm.
garrhdec791b
$411.32
Color is deep red and magenta and shows strongly in flashes around the stone . It is cut to a pointed culette but this is not a deep stone and can be set in a standard setting. A long veil-type inclusion crosses the stone diagonally under the table, but is not easily seen face-up through the dark color. |
